Classes are offered for ages 3 to adult. Kinder Dance classes are offered during mornings & afternoons, while adult classes are offered during mornings and late evenings. Classes for elementary through high school students are offered during late afternoons and early to late evenings. Our dance classes have a program of planned progress for each level with a maximum class size of twelve. SCAPA also hosts 3 performing dance companies—2 jazz companies, Junior & Senior Swift Creek Academy Performers—SCAPS, and an Irish company, Celtic Reflection. 3-, 4-, and 5-year olds in our Kinder Dance classes experience ballet, tap and creative movement, developing gross motor skills and the joy of creativity in a group. The self-discipline required for practice and the physical stamina required for advanced level work is demanding; however, the rewards are great. |

Ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern, tap and Irish step are all wonderful expressions of the joy of movement to music. The physical benefits of dance are unquestionable, when a student follows the technical guidance of our teachers. |
